How to Create a New Campaign in Pardot When the Button is Missing

If you have Connected Campaigns set up with Pardot, you have to be a marketing user in Salesforce to take full advantage of what Pardot has to offer. You can no longer create Pardot Campaigns on their own. All campaigns must be created as Salesforce Campaigns first. Then, the application will create a corresponding Pardot Campaign automatically.
Now imagine you go to create a new Salesforce Campaign and there’s no way for you to do it. It’s frustrating!
To fix this, go to Salesforce Setup and find the user that needs access. Edit their user record and click the box next to Marketing User. Have them hit refresh and they should be good to go.
